Drain hole tubes and drain holes in the sunroof jamb or engine compartment cowling often need to be cleaned out or replaced as they can get clogged over time from leaves, pine needles, dirt and debris. The drain hole tubes get old, brittle and tend to crack in which case they will need to be replaced. Water leaks are very illusive and can leak from just about anywhere. Miss-aligned doors, deck lids, door seals, tail lights and body seems. The list goes on and on.

Unfortunate and unforeseen accidents with these types of spills and leaks find their way through your carpet causing the jute or foam insulation to get wet. Not only can standing water rust the floor boards and electrical components, it can also threaten you and your family’s health by promoting growth of dangerous mold and mildew. We are here to help.

Please note: We do not offer water leak detection and repair. We do however offer water damage restoration. They are two separate services. Here is how it works. The first step is to make an appointment with us for a free onsite inspection, estimate and water leak specialist referral.  

Then you would forward our estimate to your insurance company and call our water leak specialist referral to get him scheduled to inspect and repair your water leak.  

Then after you get the OK from your insurance company and get the water leak fixed call us to schedule to bring your car in for our water damage restoration service. We will take care of the rest. 

We know having to deal with this process is stressful but from decades of experience we have found this is the best way to go about it. Water intrusion is very common here in Seattle and we are here to help guide you through this process. Here at Auto Salon at Leschi our trained professionals will first remove your carpet and wet insulation then clean and disinfect the metal floor boards.
